The Fairview Public Schools serve students in prekindergarten through eighth grade. Schools in the district (with 2005-06 enrollment data from the National Center for Education Statistics) are The Annex (PreK - Kindergarten; 168 students), Number 3 School Annex (1st grades) Number 3 School(grades 2 - 3; 210) and Lincoln School (grades 4 - 8; 535).
For grades 9-12, public school students from Fairview attend Cliffside Park High School in Cliffside Park as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Cliffside Park School District.
