The Cliffside Park Housing Authority Senior Activity Center is a focal point of the community designed to enhance the quality of life for its senior population. While the center provides a nutritionally balanced lunch, informative lectures, and an array of classes and activities for independent adults 60 and older as well as their spouses to enjoy; it is also a hub of socialization offering a variety of daytime outings, party events and opportunities for volunteering.

One of our goals is to reach out to those in the community who have not yet discovered this wonderful center and make them a part of our family. The Cliffside Park Senior Activity Center supports and promotes diverse and inclusive communities, and does not discriminate based on age, color, creed, gender, gender identity, mental or physical disability, national origin, political affiliation, race, or sexual orientation in its provision of employment or services.

Transportation is available to those in the community who might need transportation to and from the center. All programs offered are free or at a reduced rate. The following are some of the activities available to you at the center; Informative Lectures, Nutritional and medical Screenings, Exercise Classes, Line Dance Class, Zumba Gold Class, Chorus, Singing with Alan, Mahjong, ESL,  Art Class, Bingo, Afternoon Tea, Movie, Parties & Shows, Shopping Excursions, Day & Over Night Trips, etc.

Football

Royal Raiders Football is open to Fairview, Cliffside Park & Ridgefield Residents in grades 2 through 8.The Royal Raiders participate in the Bi-County Junion Scholastic Football League. Register through Cliffside Park’s Community Pass at communitypass.net. The registration fee is $150.00. Football Cheerleading

Open to all Fairview & Cliffside Park Residents in grades 2 through 8. Our cheerleaders will be cheering for our football teams. There are 3 divisions pee wee division grades 2 & 3, junior division grades 4 & 5 and senior division grades 6 through 8.

 

Competitive Cheerleading

We also offer a Competitive Cheerleading Program by try-outs only, and is open to 4th grade and older. Try-outs are typically in June and the season runs until March. The competitive cheerleading team competes locally and attends National Competitions out of state. For any questions regarding cheerleading, please contact Head Coach Pamela Leone (email)Look for flyers for all of our fall sports to be sent to the schools at the end of May.  All flyers will also be posted here on our web-site with registration dates, times and fees.  All fees can be paid in cash or by checks made payable to the Borough of Cliffside Park.  Proof of residency must accompany all registrations.  For more information on any of our programs, please call the Recreation Office at 201.945.2578.

Recreation Wrestling The Wrestling Program is open to Fairview, Cliffside Park & Ridgefield Children. Registration is now open. The program begins November 13, 2023. Practices for the 1^st week will be on Monday, November 13, Wednesday, November 13 & Friday, November 17 at the High School Wrestling Room.

Basketball
